antique archaeology store in Nashville

Are you a fan of history channel's American Pickers show?  We are!

So when Bob and I traveled through Nashville a few months ago we just had to swing by and make a visit to their new store 'Antique Archaeology' in the old marathon building. Of course there was no sign of Frank or Mike or Danielle there, or that big famous cowboy boot, but one always hopes.

See some cool pics....

The store was much smaller than I expected and super crowded with tourists with cameras...ahem.

There is a lot of show artifacts on site, so if you are a regular viewer you might recognize them, although much of that stuff was not for sale. What was for sale however was lots and lots of souvenirs.

So I came to the conclusion that the store was kind of a 'ruse', more of a tourist trap than a second store that was so badly needed for the guys. You'll know what I mean if you've ever watched their episode about the guys desperately needing space...and where was the cowboy boot? We hoped to see it. Too bad that would have been a perfect artifact for the Nashville location.

And did i mention....we bought a souvenirs lol.

anyhow the decor was super cool and it was fun to visit, take a look....

i so remember this arrow episode!
