custard glass butter dish

Last week I went to a local barn sale, and this pretty little butter dish just jumped right out at me. Although I could tell it was custard glass I didn't know the maker or age, but just had to have it for only $5.

woohoo...my first post

Hello everyone...happy to be here starting up my new blog.  Hoping to share my travels in vintage & antique hunting and also promote my 3 Etsy shops that I share with my amazing husband Bob.

I look mainly for mid-century glassware and kitchenware from the 40, 50, 60 and 70s. My favorites are fire king (anchor hocking), hazel atlas, pyrex, jeanette, mckee and federal glass.  I also look for fenton (especially hobnail), westmoreland and indiana glass. The types of glass that I find so appealing are or course jadeite (who doesn't?) and milk glass.  They seem to be so popular on Etsy as well.  stay tuned!
